If we are looking for big transformations through our practices then best to prepare for passing through some uncomfortable experiences. Not to be pessimistic, but only realistic, and to emphasise the necessary support to be nurtured within ourselves and to be found in others that we trust.
Opening our body, our mind and our emotions requires the courage to step away from past habits and beliefs, which we all hold and change at different times of our lives. Coming to release any aspects of ourselves, which we come to find have been holding us back from making the right changes that we want in our lives, requires continual compassion, understanding and forgiveness.
Healing comes in many ways but it is founded in the hope and trust for something better. This beautiful energy of faith is forever accessible within ourselves and within each other, and can always be enhanced.
Try, observe and try again, while seeing any perceived failures positively, as the lessons that we expect to find along the way.
